Just saying point of view these days is polarizing since the advent of increasingly coded, politically correct language.

In a compulsory school system students are not allowed the freedom of education needed to learn to protect their God given rights, we with our increasingly failing compulsory education system have created another form of the Gordian Knot. Our K-12 and college graduates are increasingly ignorant of our nation’s story, our history. Our graduates our increasingly ignorant of knowledge and skills needed to be a specialists in today’s society. Critical jobs are going overseas looking for talent.

Our compulsory education system is using fewer and fewer minds, instead of parents, to determine what to teach our children to prepare them to be parents. Evidence? PISA scores for instance, indicates our graduates are less prepared to be parents who can successfully compete against other parents. Educated people, traditionally, are capable of analyzing, adjusting and growing on. According to NAEP and PISA test results the United States’s compulsory education system is not administered by educated people. Our scores against other nations are falling. Our scores, using our own standards, are stagnant.

Graduates are not being prepared to be successful parents. In time, these ill prepared graduates are taking their place in society and continuing the trend with in the constraints of State directed compulsory education. Can we say “We are born free” and mean it?

What do we mean when we say equal, no child left behind, common core? Do all students graduate with equal educations?

Why are students tested?

Everyday there are more and more specialized individuals required to make our everyday products. A hundred years ago it took fewer specialist to make a loaf of bread because we hadn’t computerized the process yet. Who is training the specialists?

Until 1914 many communities, like the one I grew up in, ended compulsory schooling at age 10, what we think of as the 5th grade today. The Roaring Twenties was an age of very steep growth in the nation’s standard of living, who trained the specialists that made the products for improving out standard of living?

Many of our founding fathers attended college before their teenage years. Who was responsible for educating our founding fathers as children?

Did all the children before 1914 take a standardized test? If all children prior to 1914 had taken standardized tests, do you think the United States would have accomplished more or less?

Would the teachers who knows how to train everyone to be the next Steve Jobs or Warren Buffett please raise their hands.
