What you relate about how the teacher held him back from learning and reading at his own pace was my greatest fear for my daughter. I homeschooled her from a classical curriculum and I am graduating her this year. It was not always easy although she was always highly motivated and a natural student. It is an awesome responsibility that not everyone is willing to assume. I wish you success in your endeavors with your son.
