Teaching Digital Citizenship Using Minecraft Kathleen Jasper April 22, 2014 2 Comments 2 Responses Dawn Casey-Rowe April 22, 2014 My students love Minecraft for so many reasons–digital citizenship, for sure, but they look at it as engineering, too. My six-year old plays. I try to keep up with all of them, but the value of this can’t be denied. It’s fairly inexpensive to get sets of 25 licenses to use in a school. MinecraftEDU is an excellent option for teachers, to be sure. Reply Kathleen Jasper April 22, 2014 Thanks for the comment, Dawn. In FL, some districts shy away from tools like this, but you are right, the kids love it. I hope your comments inspire other teachers to use this tool. Thanks for being here!
